PROJECT MANAGER HEOR PHARMACEUTICAL RAHWAY, NJ Onsite. Project Description:

  • The CORE (Center for Observational and Real-World Evidence) group at the Client's is responsible for collecting real world evidence of the products that the company manufactures.
  • The CORE group works to research real world health outcomes data from consumer experience/statistics, epidemiological methods, and public health.
  • The CORE group starts where clinical trials stop.
  • This position will support the Portfolio director and Associate director on budget activities and will troubleshoot and escalate issues as needed.
  • The main responsibilities include Portfolio and budget management activities.
  • Collaborating with CORE Scientists on all CORE activities and working closely with cross-functional and cross-divisional working teams to ensure HH funded CORE projects are executed and managed within budget.
  • Addresses issues raised by CORE Scientists, responds to budget management questions, or issues, and assists to resolve by following through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for providing guidance to the CORE Scientists regarding budget and operations.
  • Collaborate with Finance colleagues to provide financial planning and budget management on HH funded projects.
  • Support project team decision making by providing relevant financial information and insight.
  • Play a central role in supporting the Profit Plan, LROP (long range operating plan), quarterly forecasts review.
  • Serve as subject Matter Expert on budget management and CORE standards.
  • Capture and/or collect metrics across supported teams and report out to CORE Portfolio, Operations, and Strategy Leader.
  • Collaborate with the Procurement group and CORE scientist to facilitate contracting, budgeting, payments, and reporting for assigned functional areas.
  • Review and update CORE ePRF (electronic Project Request Form) to ensure smooth workflow and notifications to appropriate support upon submission of ePRF and respond/follow up on requests from RDP, Vendors, or scientists.
  • Create PO and support invoicing activities.
  • Respond to queries related to milestone deliverable and payments.
  • Assist CORE scientists on questions related to timing of invoices and serve as a liaison between vendors and PtP services to ensure payments are made in a timely manner.
  • Provide sourcing/contracting/purchasing overview training to new employees and share information to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Provide operational support to ensure studies follow all CORE, MRL and HH processes.
  • Troubleshoots sourcing/study issues as they arise and work to bring to timely resolution .
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in scientific field Required.
  • Master's degree Preferred.
  • 3-4 years of experience with the Expert level Excel user, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, Slicers, automation, advanced formulas, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access/database & SharePoint.
  • Must be very comfortable with data and numbers.
  • SAP experience.
  • Portfolio and financial management/budgeting.
  • Financial planning, understanding PO's and invoices.
  • Understanding of Real-World health outcomes research/observational research.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Project management.
  • Data management & analysis.
  • Biological experience.
  • Job related experience (e.g., clinical/ observational, or non-interventional research), or equivalent experience a plus.
  • Experience with basic epidemiological methods, statistics, basic sciences, health outcome research or health economics and/or medical research.
  • Pharmaceutical experience.
  • Self-managed, motivated forward thinker.
  • Adaptable and flexible.
  • Works well in a team, however, understands when and where it is important to work independently.
  • Experience working with large cross-functional teams.
  • Not afraid to share your ideas and you inspire others to share their voices as well.
