Position Objective The eCommerce Enterprise Architect oversees the design and architecture of software applications.Collaborate on application design with internal stakeholders and application development teams, implement and monitor application development stages, and document application development processes Coordinate and guide the creation of a modern Enterprise Ecommerce Architecture that optimally supports Konica Minolta's digital transformation journey. Focus on building our ecommerce architecture foundations with an emphasis on scaling to drive growth. Collaboratively works with teams of Product Managers, Enterprise Application Team, Digital Ops and Sales/Marketing teams. Define the strategy, roadmap and implementation of eCommerce front and back end technology stack.Essential Job Functions • Design and architect scalable and distributed Digital E-Commerce systems, interfaces and functionality using cloud and other emerging technologies.• Collaborate with technical team to design a unified solution including ERP and other Order Management Systems • Design solutions that are scalable and flexible to support different payment workflows and payment service providers• Collaborate with senior managers to determine business-specific application needs.• Integrate trends in application architecture in application development projects • Work with the business to understand and solve complex problems, by presenting various solution options and technical concepts in a comprehensible manner. • Fosters synergy within and across the delivery teams to provide direction and design in an Agile environment. • Aware of market dynamics and can identify new disruptive technologies to provide business value.• Lead/support efforts for Digital Technology and Application Rationalization Use technical and functional capacities to build effective architecture standards, data models and a reference architecture that is robust, yet flexible and scalable.• Designs & leads implementation of solutions architecture across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on enterprise and segment business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements.• Lead and participate in architecture leadership and help mature architectural practice across digital organization.• Develop executive presentations, functionality and technology roadmaps, as needed for executive briefings.• Help mature Agile and Lean principles and practices.• Contributes recommendations and implementation strategies for new technologies.• Grow the maturity of Solution Architecture through the introduction of Evolutionary Architecture concepts and providing consulting support to application architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.• Advanced understanding of existing technology trends and the practical application. • Anticipates and researches emerging technologies to enable a new evolving business and operating models.• Define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision.• Design, document, and communicate incremental and target state reference architectures.• Proactively evaluate, design and promote new products, processes, technologies and solutionsCompetencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) • Experience with commerce tools, CMS Tools and REST APIs, SOA preferable• Experience with Cloud preferred, specifically - Web Jobs, Message Queue, Web Apps, App Service Plans, SQL, Cloud Functions, Cosmos DB, Traffic Manager, Blob Storage, CDN, and Cloud VMs.• Hands on experience with FE frameworks (Angular, Vue, React) and development experience with MVC, .Net core, and JS framework WebApps, Python a plus.• Knowledgeable of data integration, analytics, data stores, security and availability of data, with a cloud-first mindset.• Knowledge on SAP ERP(ECC & S/4) systems.• Focuses on innovation and improvement, connecting different concepts and contrasting ideas to provide creative solutions.• Track record of embracing challenges as learning opportunities.
