Sr. Business Development Analyst!The
Business Development Analyst/Technical Writer reports to the Director of Proposal and Business Development and will be responsible for reviewing RFP responses and participating in key strategic discussions to fully understand our technology offerings while partnering with subject matter experts/leadership within each region to provide technical documentation supporting our customers overall requirements.Essential Job Functions
- Work collaboratively with technical staff, IT Service Consultants, Solutions Architects, Sales, Marketing and SME’s and apply knowledge to create strategic technical responses
- Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and analyze solicitation requirements and instructions Wordsmith/rewrite sections to make them easily understandable, improve content and readability, incorporate win themes, suggest graphics and assisting with formatting
- Produce high-quality proposals that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Coordinate and review with technical personnel to ensure accuracy
- Analyze and compile total proposal document and supporting materials and ensure compliance
- Ensure timely delivery of RFP responses
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
- IT Product Management Experience a plus
- Network Administrator Experience considered
- Broad knowledge/understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud computing
- Technical writing experience around network design LAN/WAN including, communications technologies, database technologies, security solutions, etc.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into user-friendly clear, concise information for the end user
- Strong consulting skills, attention to detail and ability to work well in a group environment
- Extensive experience utilizing Microsoft Office Applications
- Knowledge and ability to professionally respond to RFP/RFI’s
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead initiatives
Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (relevant to Product Marketing or IT) and/or equivalent work experience
- CompTIA Network + certification or equivalent IT Experience
