- At least 10+ years Big Data experience with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications in Big Data Eco-Systems .
- Must have strong Hands-on experience in Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Scala, Elastic, Hive/Impala SQL).
- Experience in writing Shell scripts, familiarity with data loading tools like Sqoop, Flume and Kafka.
- Must have good knowledge of workflow schedulers like Oozie, NoSQL (Hbase), MongoDB, RDBMS(Oracle).
- Experience working on the development and deployment of StreamSets pipelines within the cloud or on-premises environments is a huge plus.
- Strong analytical and design skills, including the ability to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and effective technical designs that work well within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments
- Excellent trouble-shooting skills, with the ability to quickly identify and document the root cause of issues, and effectively communicate possible resolutions.
- Aptitude and desire for learning new technologies.
- Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills.
