Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for formulating, developing and leading government research and applied research projects. This position presents a great opportunity for experienced researchers that are looking to work on challenging, cutting edge technology across diverse areas.

Formulate, develop and lead new programs in the areas of cyber-security, wireless networking, sensor networks, Internet of Things, 5G, machine learning.
Mentor junior technical staff members
Perform technical writing including proposals, technical papers, and reports
Give presentations and briefing to customers
Provide project direction, oversight and feedback to assigned project staff.

Qualifications

Requires 12 to 15 years with BS/BA or 10 to 13 years with MS/MA or 7 to 9 years with Ph.D.

Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of US Citizenship
BS/BA, MS/MA, Ph.D. or equivalent experience in Computer Science, or Electrical and Computer Engineering
Demonstrated record of successful research and/or applied research
Strong leadership skills.
Strong written and spoken communications/presentation skills.
Understanding of modern software and hardware design implementation techniques and practices.
Knowledge of wireless systems and networking.
Experience working with government funding agencies and program managers
