Immediate opportunity for a highly motivated Hybrid Cloud Architect and Cloud MSP Practice Lead. Focus on Private Cloud Data Centers and the integration and growth with public cloud services, including but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Microsoft Azure Solutions and M365. For this role, an emphasis on Microsoft Azure Cloud and M365 with referenceable experience is a Must Have. The ideal candidate will collaborate with our clients and staff to define and implement cloud infrastructure journey maps, technology adoption plans, and long term strategy. This position will play a critical role in driving innovation, change, and adoption of Cloud platforms with our Clients. The Hybrid Cloud Solutions Architect will own the development of Client based technical engagements and success around specific implementation projects, and demonstrate a broad know-how around how applications, services, servers, and networking are constructed using the AWS/Azure platforms, containers and micro- services. The Solutions/Technical Architect will provide technical design and thought leadership working with Sales teams, internal and external Clients and participate in growing Cloud based business with responding to Client requests, RFP/RFI s and Proposal writing. Candidate must be able to operate and produce with minimal supervision and guidance and be a self-starter to make things happen. Responsibilities: ? Design, deploy, manage and operate scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS/Azure and traditional private cloud virtual environments. ? Implement and control the follow of data to and from AWS/Azure from customer on-prem environments as well as Private Cloud networks. ? Estimate AWS/Azure usage costs and identify operational cost control mechanisms, including charge-back and show-back. ? Research new technology advancements and conduct evaluations focused on optimizing and improving infrastructure configuration, performance, capacity, availability, and operational reliability. ? Defines strategy for and maintains technology standards. ? Works closely with other individuals and groups in the execution of technology proof of concepts, deployment, and adoption. ? Understand project challenges and requirements in order to influence future infrastructure requirements and enhances to address program needs. ? Implement and delivers AWS/Azure infrastructure projects into operational delivery. ? Verify security, audit, and compliance requirements are met. ? Stay abreast of new and emerging AWS/Azure technology and processes, evolve and apply to continuously improve IT services ? Make technical recommendations and influence business decisions. ? Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be integrated, built and operated on AWS/Azure as well as private clouds, leveraging common orchestration, DevOps and Management processes. ? Use DevOps tools for cloud based provisioning and management of hybrid cloud infrastructure ? Implement, document and encourage the use of standard services and RESTful API s to provide continuous improvement of the Cloud services, Application and Database delivery to MFX clients ? Work closely with Sales and Marketing in defining the Practice, Services and provide architectural technical sales support. Qualifications: The position requires considerable decision-making capability, as well as an ability to research, evaluate and act on a wide variety of technical situations. Applicants must have demonstrated experience as a lead or having acted in a decision making role. The principal requirements include ? At least 10+ years enterprise IT Infrastructure/Network experience that includes at least five years of hands-on Technical Architect, DevOps engineering (a Plus), systems administration, or systems architecture ? Extensive technical and leadership skills with transformation skills that will enable clients to create or refine cost effective, secure infrastructure environments that address their business needs. ? Accomplished senior IT manager and architect with a full spectrum of general, technical, project management experience and broad success in enterprise architecture, cloud transformation, e-commerce, product consulting, and solution development. ? Proven track record in business development, meeting financial goals / growth targets ? Experienced in full life cycle management for cloud and client-server systems development and operations (DevOps). ? Thorough understanding of the current trends in risk management and information security (CISSP), system, application, and data architectures. ? An experienced leader who can establish vision, develop strategy, and execute tactics with a team approach to realize desired results. Insurance knowledge a great Plus. But not required ? Hands on experience with AWS/Azure and a strong understanding of AWS/Azure capabilities and limitations. ? Ability to design and deliver solutions that factor in system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability while accounting for development and maintenance costs. ? Prior experience in a technical consulting role in a private, state, or local implementation project. ? Experience with emerging technologies such as Containers/Docker and Micro-Services a big Plus. ? Understanding of infrastructure and security requirements, such as PCI, PII, HIPAA, CJIS, etc. ? Demonstrated ability in evaluating and recommending technologies as part of an overall strategic plan, including establishing priorities, developing long-range plans, and managing strategically.
