Job Description

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a client facing environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Perform visual testing on all components of drug product container, closure, and medical device components
  • May also conduct testing that supports the release of container, closure, and medical device components utilizing several manual and instrumental techniques and documenting associated test results
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Participate in required training activities
  • Gathers data and documents test results.
  • Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements.
  • Completes laboratory documentation and reviews logbook data.
  • Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices prior to use.
  • Interacts with outside customers or functional peer groups.
  • Continuously drive to improve processes for improved performance using Lean & 5s

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Life Sciences, or related field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with GMP preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Level will be determined based on relevant education and/or experience

Position is full-time, 2nd shift, Tuesday-Saturday. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Rensselaer, NY and the surrounding areas are encouraged to apply.
