Your ImpactYou are an experienced SQA Engineer who is proactive, an independent worker, and highly organized. You will be heavily involved in developing automation tests to perform both functional and end-to-end testing on new products that are still in development. As a key contributor for this effort, communication, collaboration, and critical thinking are essential skills that will make you most successful in this role.
As a Key QA Engineer You Will:Develop software to test new products
Write robust automation code and scripts to test product with an offshore team to build up and execute automation tests for a new product product
Work cross functionally with software development and program managers to write test plans
Define gaps in existing test plans
Execute tests, isolate, and report bugs to the right development teams
- Escalate critical issues and work directly with developers to troubleshoot bugs
Qualifications
Your ExperienceB.S. or M.S. Degree in computer-related discipline
6+ years experience as a QA Automation engineer or in an SDET role
Highly proficient in languages like Go, Python
Knowledge of DevOps process and pipeline tools like Jenkins, Gitlab
Experience in REST API testing and end to end functional testing
Strong independent, critical thinking and debugging skills
Experience creating test plans based on product specs and familiar with product development cycles
Strong knowledge of SQA methodologies and comfortable in a fast-paced agile environment
Comfortable in startup environments with small teams, working directly with software developers to review and improve test plans
Experience developing automation framework
Experience automating tests for platform software or embedded systems preferred
Proficiency with Shell scripting
