About the RoleThe Lab Technician will be responsible for supporting clinent's Engineering group on several projects in various stages of development. Hardware Technician must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with little supervision needed to maintain project schedules/deadlines. Responsibilities- Aids with managing the inventory including tracking, shipping, receiving materials
- Building server, based on prepared documentation
- Ability to escalate problems when discovered
- Perform Lab Management responsibilities to maintain and organize a clean and efficient lab
- Fundamental understanding of computer architecture and components (CPU, power supply, memory, storage devices, etc.)
- Exposure to a server, rack and blade environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at a technical level
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at various levels in the organization
- Ability to completes tasks on time
- 2+ years of troubleshooting, tech support or relevant experience
- Exposure to troubleshooting issues
- A+ Certification
- Exposure within a computer hardware and/or lab environment
