Job Descriptioncurrently seeking L3 Datacenter Technicians to support company's customers & staff as they deploy and maintain servers. The ideal candidate for this role balances strong technical skills, attention-to-detail, and a challenge driven attitude to resolve technical issues for sustaining and deployment activities. L3 Technicians will also contribute in creating knowledge library, e.g. KB Articles, SOP etc. Additionally, the L3 tech will assist with new product introduction activities related to field services.Require good experience in Virtual Machines/VMWare, Monitoring tools, Server/hardware Troubleshooting (L3 Support) / Technical support/ Data center experience

Responsibilities and Essential FunctionsRespond to

technical support requests from customer and staff in a timely mannerConduct failure analysis on field issues until root cause is determined based on:o Controlled

testing of suspect hardware, system or firmwareo Engagement of internal engineering departments and vendorsProactively support field sustaining activities by o Administering soft tools (e.g.: diagnostics, tests, FW updates) o Preparing SOPs, Knowledge articles, & guides o Conduct training of new issue/resolution, new technical process & new toolsProactively and reactively support field deployments globally by Maintaining deployment equipment and software v2017.02 New Product Introduction for Team leads and Technicians o Real-time issue resolution during deployment executionTrack server fleet health to investigate trends, new unknown issues, and validate that ZT maintaining customer SLA

Provide timely and detailed feedback to the engineering team on failures, serviceability of servers, and integration with the datacenterBe an outstanding representative of client's at all times Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExceptional

server hardware knowledge with deep understanding of all component & system type

failures o Proven RCA or Failure analysis historyo Experienced in controlled experiments to determine root causeSolid experience with IPMI utilization in diagnostics and with the following tools Required: FIO, IPMItool (IPMItool) o Preferred: Prime95, Coretemp, Smartctl, Arcconf or MegaCLI, Memtest86Basic

Linux and Windows scripting experienceWorking knowledge of deployment technologies such as WDS, PXE, DHCP & FTP o Experienced with

Windows Server OS & Winpe OS administration o Experienced with Linux PXE servicesAttention to detail and accuracy in investigation of issues, RCA/FA documents, etc. is essential to the customer and is critical to this roleHistory of creating Knowledge articles and SOP documentsAbility to regularly
