K&A Engineering — Our engineering group provides a comprehensive portfolio of professional design, assessment and consulting services with a belief that buildings should be cost-effective to build and to operate, be energy-efficient and sustainable, and provide a safe and healthy environment for their occupants.
The Basics — We are currently looking to add to our team. At present, we are seeking to add electrical engineers with relevant of experience who are interested in working with our senior engineers to find practical solutions when designing building systems from concept through construction completion for commercial, multi-family, educational, healthcare; new and retrofit projects.
The Requirements (as appropriate for your experience level) —
Electrical Engineering student or recent graduate seeking “hands on” design experience with various types of electrical systems OR
Degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering
“Hands on” design experience with various types of electrical systems
Proficiency in either an ArchiCAD or AutoCAD environment.
Strong communication and writing skills.
Strong relational and communication skills with client, business and coworkers (if applicable)
Proven track record of success managing multiple projects simultaneously (if applicable)
Professional technical writing skills
EIT Certificate OR PE license a definite plus, but not a requirement
LEED accreditation are a definite plus, but not a requirement

The Small Print — Salary commensurate with experience. Additionally, the position comes with an excellent benefits package. A valid drivers license is required for this position. Our offices are located in the historic Zane School Office Building, just two blocks from the Collingswood PATCO station. From there, it takes all of 10 minutes to get to Center City, Philadelphia.
