JOB TITLE Contract, UI/UX Business Analyst & Designer LOCATION Remote/ South Plainfield, NJ TAX TERMS W2 EXPERIENCE 7 Years INTERVIEW MODE Telephonic/Skype JOB SUMMARY: Primary duties/responsibilities:
- Identifies UI and UX design needs for the company's applications, platforms, and digital assets.
- Develops and conceptualizes UI/UX design strategies to ensure consistency and best practices.
- Produces high-quality UI/UX designs using wireframes, flow diagrams, graphic and visual design, sitemaps, prototypes, and storyboards.
- Designs UI elements, such as search boxes, navigation menus, widgets, and tabs, for the company's applications, platforms, and digital assets using various UI/UX tools.
- Test UI elements, forms, form elements, page designs, page layouts, target links, and page flows.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Communications team and internal and external designers to make sure that tailor-made content is being created and delivered to the digital users.
- Provides advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methods and tests to ensure proper prediction and analysis of user behavior.
- Functions as an internal UI/UX Subject Matter Expert and recommends best-practice solutions.
- Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX designer or a similar role.
- Portfolio of UI/UX design work for both mobile and web platforms
- Good knowledge of Sketch, InVision, HTML, Visio, iOS, Android, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Proficient with visual design programs such as Adobe Photoshop and others.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces for end users.
- Experience with coding and ability to troubleshoot using HTML, CSS, and comparable languages.
- Continued education and research into UX trends and current design strategy and technologies.
- Experience creating storyboards and website mapping.
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (e.g. computer science, web design, graphic design, etc.) and a minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment OR equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as the principal resource for UI/UX design OR equivalent experience and/or education.
- Professional written and interpersonal skills when communicating with stakeholders and end users.
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.
- Analytical thinker with excellent proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.
- Project Management experience including PMP certification.
