Tech Support Analyst

Temp to hire opportunity, 2nd shift -3pm-11:30pm, on site in Swedesboro, NJ

  • Installs, tests, diagnoses and performs Quality Assurance on equipment from leading manufacturers.
  • Troubleshoots problems by utilizing technical support groups.
  • Provides support to Integration Services' Associates. Works in an ESD protected environment following ISO processes and procedures and keeps detailed records of all activities as performed.

Job Description

  • Installs, tests, diagnoses and performs Quality Assurance on equipment from leading manufacturers.
  • Troubleshoots problems by utilizing technical support groups.
  • Provides support to Integration Services' Associates. Works in an ESD protected environment following ISO
  • processes and procedures and keeps detailed records of all activities as performed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required

  • Install, test and perform Quality Assurance testing of hardware and software on various types of computer equipment including laptops, desktops, servers, and networking products.
  • Troubleshoot problems that occur while performing configurations and assists technicians in solving installation and testing issues. Provides local first and second level technical support to the Integration Center.
  • Log and track orders using established procedures.
  • Attend and complete continuous training in new software releases, new hardware and technologies.
  • Documents and utilizes ISO processes and procedures.
  • Assists in the assembly process as directed.
  • Trains, mentors and provides guidance to technicians.
  • Communicates and escalates problems to management.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
  • Meets attendance and punctuality standards.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions

  • Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
  • Able to transport up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to troubleshoot system-related problems.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
  • Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc) at an intermediate level.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Education

High School/G.E.D. required, Associate degree preferred.

Certifications

  • A+ certification, required.
  • One of the following certifications with demonstrated experience in the field: Cisco: CCNA/CCNP; Microsoft: MCSA/MCSE

Working Conditions
  • Clean room environment requiring ESD protection.
  • Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.
  • Distribution center environment; may include exposure to extreme temperatures; high noise levels; high places; wet and/or humid conditions; and outside weather conditions
