Job Title: HRIS Support Specialist Location: NYC, NY (Onsite 3 days/ week) Job Description:- Position Overview: We are looking for a HRIS support specialist to join our Corporate Application Development team. The HRIS Specialist is responsible for supporting the maintenance of the Human Resources Operations applications and tools including the human resources information system (HRIS), compensation system. The HRIS Specialist performs varied Human Resources operations functions related to business continuity programs and identifying process improvement opportunities. The ideal candidate proactively collaborates with our program manager to prepare, organize, coordinate, document and/or provide the development and deliverables. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support core HCM, Compensation, Time Tracking systems
  • Evaluate new software versions, enhancements and plans for upgrades, assist in review and management of bi-annual releases
  • Develop test strategies as well as execute testing and training
  • Maintain and support existing HR applications, processes, and integrations
  • Provide day-to-day support to business users
  • Collect and Document the requirements from the business users
  • Establish continuous communication with the business line Controllers
  • Performing and directing quality assurance testing of systems and solutions.
Education and professional experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another four-year degree with significant IS experience OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of HCM systems support experience. Preferred Workday experience
  • Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server is required to support our comp process
  • Good to have experience with SSRS
  • Highly motivated team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Must be highly organized and process oriented.
  • Ability to research and trouble-shoot application problems
