Our Client is expanding and currently seeks an

IT INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

for a 12+ month assignment with possible extensions

Position is currently remote, but must report to this office once safe to do so Location: Princeton, New Jersey

Job Description and Qualifications Our Client seek an IT Infrastructure Engineer who can demonstrate the ability to effectively collaborate within and across various technology delivery towers, to deliver complex application hosting solutions in a large IT organization.

Accountabilities: • Hosting Solution DCMs work with application teams and IT Business Partners to understand their hosting requirements and create appropriate hosting solutions. • Solutions require a global perspective and often enable a 24 x 7 x 365 operation. • Provide architectural design for delivery of new capabilities in AWS, especially focusing on DevOps. Scale up the optimization and management capabilities for AWS as full stack deployments increase. • Coordinate and provide direction to a global team of contractors that provide infrastructure refresh services. • Partners on a regular basis with Build & Run colleagues and multiple IT Plan teams to ensure alignment with ongoing operations (Run) and project outcomes (Build). • Provide input to the hosting estimates of the PPM, demand process and answer client questions around hosting cost estimates. • May include the review and approval of consumption and invoices from DXC, Cognizant and Accenture. • Work with hosting teams to strategize on direction for key-shared hosting environments including Weblogic, WebSphere, .net, SharePoint and others. • Serve on steering and working committees for key projects and larger initiatives.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

• Mid to senior level understanding of on premise and cloud application hosting infrastructure technologies. • Experience using AWS cloud services. Knowledge of EC2, EBS, S3, RDS service, and spend optimization. • Hands-on experience with in supporting and managing Windows and Linux systems in a large scale computing environment(s) is desirable. • Must have proficient TCP/IP networking understanding. • Ability to troubleshoot application connectivity and other technical infrastructure issues, and lead cross-team efforts to resolve. • Ability to work both independently and as a contributor in a team environment. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. • Strong oral and written communication skills.

Possess proficiency in the following skills: • 5+ years of experience with on premise and cloud application hosting infrastructure technologies. • 5+ years of AWS cloud services. • 5+ years of TCP/IP networking experience. • 5 years of leading application hosting infrastructure design and deployments.

Education: Must have a 4 year degree
