Title: Azure DeveloperJob Location: Trenton, NJ (Onsite)Job Duration: 12+ Months Contract Required Relevant Work Experience:5 years in an Azure environment. This is a position that requires the contractor to be on site from the beginning of the engagement 2 days per week and then 5 days per week starting October 18, 2021. This is a tentative date, as conditions may change that push that date out. Also, by the NJ governor's order, all attending onsite work with the State will be required to have been fully vaccinated or submit to tests 1-2 times per week. Interviews for this position will be by webcam. Job Description- The candidate must be able to design, develop and manipulate database management systems. Requires a depth and breadth of database knowledge that shall help with the formal design of relational databases.
- An ideal candidate will have worked with the latest version of MS SQL and written Stored Procedures extensively.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions in Azure, Cloud - Azure Cloud Services.
- Experience in setting up SQL Azure security. Knowledge of SQL and No-SQL data stores. Solid understanding of Event-Driven and Microservice-based architectures. The candidate has developed MS SQL databases for SharePoint Online and Azure Cloud platforms.
- Strong working knowledge of Web services (API) technologies and frameworks.
- Integrate machine learning algorithms into apps by calling APIs and integrating SDKs using Azure Cognitive Services. Create and customize dashboards in the Azure portal.
- Extend app to perform data analytics using Azure Logic Apps and Cognitive Services.

- Responsibilities include working with a project team that spans project managers, developers, and subject matter experts.
- The candidate is expected to:
- Participate in JAD sessions with the user to determine application functional requirements
- Perform database impact analysis and documentation including table relation diagrams and data dictionary updates as it relates to the Azure cloud environment
- Create/identify data structures to support modules and screens in the Azure cloud environment
- Create and modify complex Azure stored procedures and aid the application developers during application integration
- Perform advanced data cleanup functions
- Analyze queries and stored procedures to enhance performance
- Perform backup and restore functions
- Perform database performance analysis
- Train existing staff on Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Azure Cloud experience architecting and designing relational databases
- Designing and developing cloud-native solutions in Azure, Cloud - Azure Cloud Services
- Developing databases on Microsoft Azure cloud platforms using the Microsoft PowerApps Platform and Office 365 productivity tool
- Experience designing complex enterprise data structures using industry best practice
- Prior experience developing MS SQL store procedures
- Prior experience creating procedures within SQL Server to align with SharePoint applications
- Prior experience working on integrating applications with SQL Databases
- Excellent communication skill
- Experience with Event-Driven and Micro service-based architectures
- Developed MS SQL databases for SharePoint Online and Azure Cloud platforms
- Experience with using Azure Cognitive Services
