Job DescriptionCome join Intel's Performance Architecture and Analysis Organization as a Performance Architect! In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:Architectural exploration/innovations, evaluation of design alternatives, performance projections, Power/Performance (PnP) trade-offs, and support performance validation for Data Center products.

Using state of the art simulation and technology to make sure future SoCs deliver industry leading performance/power.

In addition to the qualifications listed below, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the following traits:Problem-solving skills and multitasking

QualificationsYou must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum QualificationsThe candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 3+years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and:Computer Performance Architecture, Microarchitecture or Performance Modeling

Fabric, Memory, Coherency or Core Perf Microarchitecture

Programming languages: C, Java, Python or similar languages

Preferred QualificationsResearch/Publications/Patents in Computer Performance Microarchitecture

Performance scenarios/use cases and KPI/workloads

Hardware, software design and debug skills
