What You’ll Be Doing:Evolent Health is looking for a Senior Director, Pricing to be a key leader for strategically driving provider contract pricing work across our partner base. This individual will play a critical role in defining the strategy and timely completion of pricing implementation and maintenance while guiding the Pricing BA team and working collaboratively with EVH’s pricing vendor, Testing and Configuration teams.What You’ll Be Doing:Client Delivery-Serve as primary accountable owner to manage delivery of end-to-end provider contract pricing

Manage the Pricing analysts, which includes decisions on resource allocations, staffing assignments and coaching team members on the delivery work, and collaborate with the other teams in the decision-making process

Work directly with EVH’s pricing vendor to manage deliverables, remove roadblocks, determine intent of contracts by collaborating with partner, pricing vendor and testing team, prioritization of tickets, risks, and issues management, manage weekly progress, address quality concerns etc. Create a standard framework for Pricing Vendor’s weekly status and progress reporting that can be consumed by leadership. Escalate risks to leadership to help drive accountability.

Develop a data driven approach in collaboration with analytics team for managing pricing backlog including but not limited to – execution by highest priority across all teams, understanding throughput and velocity of each team, understanding bottlenecks and quality issues based on data, provide dashboards and insights to leadership to understand investment needs or escalations etc.

Develop a playbook and approach for coaching team members, drive continuous improvement where applicable with process enhancements

Work collaboratively and drive alignment amongst the key domains and leads where pricing decisions overlap

Collaborate with business owners throughout the organization to insure exceptional service and delivery across client base

Develop plans for organizing resources, producing deliverables, managing timeframes, and ensuring a seamless delivery of Evolent Health’s services and products to partner organizations

Develop an agile approach for managing pricing tickets across each partner including but not limited to - defining structure of scrum team, sprint planning, scope of each sprint, roles, and responsibilities etc.

Identify gaps that can be solved by leveraging technology and share with leadership for future investments

Team and People Development-Manage a high performing pricing team by providing direction, guidance, and coaching

Collaborate with other leads to develop delivery expertise, including contributing to a training curriculum and ongoing education on Evolent and industry solutions that further the team’s capabilities

Inspire and motivate the delivery team by embodying Evolent’s mission and values

Preferred Experience We Look For:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

At least 10 years of experience in one of the following: health care management, consulting experience, health plan operations experience in Medicaid plans, Exchange plans or Medicare Advantage plans

10 years of configuration, provider reimbursement or similar experience

Prior management experience leading technical resources

Ability to execute on a strategy

Ability to operate with significant latitude on key actions, decisions, and guidelines

Proven track record of strong management; excellent employee interface & customer service skills

Strong ability to understand and identify risks and develop mitigation strategies

Demonstrate creative problem-solving skills, adapting approach as needed for each engagement and client specifics

Strong executive communication skills

Fundamental project management skills to manage risks and issues and drive a team towards the critical path

Excellent written and oral presentation skills, with the ability to engage, inspire, build credibility, and generate trust across all levels of a globally integrated organization

Ability to build and sustain productive, efficient team

Previous health plan operations experience

Experience and/or strong influential skills to manage cross-functional, virtual teams

Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize simultaneously

Absolute integrity and strong, hands-on work ethic

Advanced knowledge of MS Office products

Technical Requirements:Currently, Evolent employees work remotely temporarily due to COVID-19. As such, we require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
