RESPONSIBILITIES:- Work with IT and Business management to evaluate complex user requests, projects, and clarify objectives and functional requirements for new or modified computer programs.
- Determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and system capabilities.
- Formulates detailed program specifications using structured analysis and design methodology. Prepare project documentation when needed.
- Work with functional architects to define and implement application architecture.
- Code new or modified computer programs into existing systems and test program effectiveness. Evaluate error messages, modify codes and troubleshoot programming problems.
- Develop detailed application designs and specifications for computer applications.
- Perform analysis of systems issues or changes.
- Write documentation describing program development, logic, coding, and corrections.
- Participate in the development of user manuals and operating procedures
- Provide assistance to IT team members with issues needing technical expertise or systems and/or programming knowledge.
- Experience working with Oracle 12c and above
- Prior experience with Toad and SQL developer database tools
- Prior professional experience developing detailed application designs and specifications for computer applications
- Prior hands on experience with JavaScript (jQuery), CSS, HTML
- Ability to function well in large-scale, complex, cross-functional / platform environment
- Experience setting up java build environment in Eclipse using Ant/Maven or other deployment tools
- Experience migrating code from JBuilder to Eclipse environment
- Prior experience as technical lead creating, managing, and deploying web applications
- Prior experience as a lead developer using Struts 1.2
- Prior hands on experience with administering WebLogic application server and upgrading WebLogic versions 10.3 and above
- Possesses an expert level knowledge of the Struts and web application deployments to production
- Prior experience upgrading Java version of the application
- Prior experience porting projects to Eclipse and deploying using Eclipse
- Prior experience creating configuration, build, and test scripts for Continuous Integration environments
- Prior experience with PDF printing from browser (IE, Edge, Chrome, Firefox)
- Prior work experience with JBuilder 2005 Enterprise and Eclipse developer tools
- Prior work experience with Jasper reporting tool
- Prior work experience with iReports Designer 5.1.0 reporting tool
