Description We are seeking a Bookkeeper with great interpersonal skills and a background in accounting to join our team. The firm offering this long-term contract Bookkeeper role is based in the Voorhees, New Jersey area. Robert Half is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with excellent communication and organizational skills to join a dynamic, growing company. Be sure to learn more about this role! If you have experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you.Major responsibilitiesPrepare financial statements and reports, including the profit and lost statements and balance sheet
Month-end and year-end write-up and closings
Assist with budget preparations
Pay invoices and maintain ledgers
Process and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
Requirements
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Experience with accounts payable invoicing, ledger accounts and reconciliation
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
2+ years of accounting experience
Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
