Description Begin an exciting career with a company in the Wholesale Distribution industry as an entry-level Accountant via Robert Half. Your duties in this position will include entering data, reviewing financial statements, and creating and manipulating Excel spreadsheets. Researching and rectifying account discrepancies
Reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts
Executing other related duties and partaking in special projects as assigned
Log data
Facilitating full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audit
Requirements - Less than one year of experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail
Solid understanding of Accounting Entries
General familiarity with AS400
Accounting Principles experience required
Foundational knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated knowledge of Monthly Bank Reconciliation
Adeptness in bank reconciliations
Accounts Payable (AP) experience highly desired
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Excel
Excellent data entry skills
Desire to thrive in scenarios of team-based work or independent tasks, always looking to learn more and take initiative on a number of different projects and tasks
Applicants are recommended to hold an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills
