Genesis10 is seeking an Azure Cloud Engineer for a 3 month renewable contract position. This role is for a P&C/Reinsurance agency. This position can be 100% remote.

Summary: Azure Cloud Engineer will work with development teams and other infrastructure engineers to solve critical issues. With the expanding growth of the Azure Platform, the group is looking for 2 resouces. One resource will be focusing on a Active Directory Migration project, with the other resource doing a combination of development of azure kubernetes services along with other azure engineering work. Successful candidates must have worked in Microsoft Azure environments,and have experience with Acitve Directory migration to either OS 2016 or 2019

OR AKS. They should also have Azure PaaS, IaaS /developing Infrastructure code and ARM/Bicep Template development experience. The candidate must possess strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, communications skills, and demonstrated great problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop and implement Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
Support Active Directory Migration from an Azure Platform perspective
Write and deploy ARM / Bicep templates (experience with Bicep is a plus)
Experience with Azure Application Service environments -deploying both publicly and privately
Writing and deploying IaaS
Deployments from Azure DevOps
Assist with development of Azure Data Bricks

Work Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
2+ years Experience working in Azure cloud environment
Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Active Directory Migration Experience
Experience in automation of code deployment in Microsoft Azure through Infrastructure-as-Code
Experience in writing and creating ARM Templates (Bicep experience is a plus)
Experience working with Linux environments strongly preferred
Knowledge of networking and software defined networking in cloud environments
Scripting experience using JSON and PowerShell
Must be organized and detailed oriented with the ability to work independently on multiple tasks.
Excellent communications and analytical skills.
Knowledge of Agile development lifecycles
