The Marketing Program Manager plans and implements projects that support the brand objectives of retaining subscribers and reducing churn. Interacts directly with inter-company resources and external vendor resources to identify and implement marketing opportunities. Prepares and oversees regular marketing activity reports including performance and expense forecasts. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives.

Marketing Program Manager will implement multi-channel marketing programs that drive retention, usage and revenue among the subscriber base for the Assurance Wireless prepaid wireless Lifeline brand. The Manager leads the implementation of direct-to-consumer marketing campaigns to retain and drive usage among existing subscribers with voice, data and/or device offers and promotions. The Manager is accountable for delivering targeted activity, ARPU and churn goals within a defined budget.

Responsibilities include planning, development, implementation and forecasting of subscriber outreach, managing cross-functional teams including operational requirements such as brand, legal, Care, and external partners and vendors with the goal of retaining and successfully migrating subscribers. Subscriber retention campaigns may leverage a mix of mobile/text, direct mail, web, email, IVR, Care and social media. Also important is database marketing including targeting, measuring, tracking and optimizing each program's performance, and executing marketing trials.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:• Ability to work in a face paced, highly regulated environment• Extensive retention marketing experience in multi-channel disciplines including database marketing, mobile, direct mail, email and website• Significant knowledge of telecommunications and prepaid wireless business• Experience working with external partners, vendors and executing direct-to-consumer programs• Awareness of Lifeline regulations, products and services, and competitors• Strong communications skills including experience communicating with upper level management

Basic Qualifications• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or similar• 6+ years of marketing experience including customer retention and/or subscription marketing

Preferred QualificationsSix years - experience in multi-channel marketing with focus on retention marketing, telecommunications and mobile devicesFamiliarity with permission marketing and customer privacy issuesResults oriented, attention to detail, enjoys working hard to realize objectives

Expertise in Microsoft Office product suiteStrong communications, analytical and project management skills

Telecom experience is a must.
