Synechron is looking for Azure Data Architect [Application background] to join our team in Weehawken, NJ:

Job Position: Azure Data Architect

Location: Weehawken, NJ/ Hybrid [day one onsite and hybrid work]

Local candidate is preferred; non-locals must be willing to relocate near client location and work in Hybrid model from day one:

Azure Solution Architect

Role and Responsibilities Description:

Solution architect with hands-on design and build experience for end-to-end solutions with Microsoft Azure
Review and evaluate architectures of existing on-premises systems and design for Azure migration.
Provide technical leadership, guidance, and assistance to the teams in the implementation of established architectures and designs.
Work on POC’s to establish the architecture that can be used by the developers to build the application

Technical Skills

Required: Azure Architecture and design patterns, Domain driven architecture, Microservices architecture, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), Containers (Docker), Azure App Services, Azure Cosmos Database, Azure Monitoring and Application insights
Preferred: Azure Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, Azure Active Directory, Azure Storage, Networking and Security Solutions
Experience with configuration management and automation technologies such as Terraform and ARM Templates
Working knowledge with AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) with
Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java 1.8+ (preferred), PowerShell, Bash, .Net, .Net Core, Python.
Experience with frontend technologies specifically React (preferred) , Angular or Vue and good understanding of JavaScript
Deep technical experience in cloud application solutions (e.g. PaaS, Serverless, API Management) and building resilient, scalable multi-site architectures

Non-Technical Skills

Ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources
Exceptional verbal and written communication

Experience:

10+ years’ of relevant experience
Hands-on experience as a team lead with software application projects
