JOB SUMMARY EDI Development with Trading Partner, user groups, management and developers. EDI Support contact and resolution follow-up for all internal users and external trading partners in respect to EDI problems in our internal ERP system "Atlas and Finnlines Atlas. Process analysis and resolve user/trading partner-reported problems using available tools, following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases. Act as a liaison between trading partners and internal support staff, to assure accurate problem interpretation. Maintain communications with customers/user group during the problem resolution process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ` % Time estimate A. EDI Development. Set up EDI infrastructure (Translator/Application Integration). 10 B. Process Analyst functions; provide technical specifications to developer while developing 40 EDI message sets.
Create business specifications document after analyzing new EDI requirements and 10 coordinating between Trading Partners and business units E. Testing and deployment of EDI production releases 20 F. Production Support and Maintenance 20 KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/EDUCATION/ABILITIES Process/Business Analysis skills. Able to quickly learn our ERP system Atlas and other Shipping Industry sector systems we use. EDI Translator packages Sterling B2B. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to use SQL for querying Oracle database. Working knowledge of communication protocols (ie SFTP) and familiarity with API and Web-Service concepts.
