What You Will Do

Participate and contribute in the full project life cycle, including gathering requirements, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support of applications using PHP, JavaScript – mostly jQuery library.
Participate in estimating assigned work effort and be accountable for completion dates
Document code so other engineer can reuse and support components in the future.
As needed, help and mentor more junior developers on implementation
Troubleshoot critical production issues if needed
Production release management and support as needed
Follow standard software development methodologies and SDLC and Agile practices to produce high quality applications in an efficient manner.
Effectively manage multiple project deliverables concurrently

Skills and Experience You Will NeedSkills:

3-5 years Application DBA with strong SQL and experience with PostgreSQL is required
Strong understanding of relational database (SQL)
Conceptual knowledge of database normalization as well as implementation
Stored procedure, triggers and functions
Data normalization experience
Understanding of process models and methodologies
2-3 years AWS /ETL glue services required
Working knowledge of AWS or other Cloud Computing environments strongly preferred
GIT – source control, pull request and release management required
2-3 years PHP Full Stack experience is preferred
Angular, Bootstrap and Python skill set are desirable.
Agile / Scrum Experience
Experience with Unix/Linux command line are desirable
