Job Title: Customer Service Representative - 1Job Id: 21-09019Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889Duration: 6 monthsPosition Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only) Summary:- The main function of a customer service representative is to interact with producers/brokers to provide information and assistance with installing VMware software so they can successfully connect to our Masterpiece quoting system.
- A typical customer service representative is responsible for determining the producer/broker issue, offer possible solutions or providing follow-up as needed. Customer service calls may be inbound, outbound or a combination of both. Provides basic technical support.
- Resolve producer/broker issues when trying to install the VMware software. Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them that installation is required in order for them to continue using the Masterpiece quoting system.
- Refer unresolved issues to designated departments for further investigation.
- Keep records of interactions, recording details of inquiries, problems, and comments, as well as actions taken. Effectively gather problem information. Evaluate and diagnose problems. Properly escalate issues to management
- Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently.
- Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Previous experience with different internet browsers, able to maneuver through the PC’s control panel to Add/Remove software.
