The Technical Recruiter is mainly responsible for sourcing and recruiting technical professionals for consulting and direct hire opportunities within client organizations. Additional duties include the following;
- Review and analyzes active client requirements to source and identify candidates for open positions
- Utilizes multiple internet resources, including the Technical Recruiters own creative networking techniques to source candidates
- Tracks and manages all candidate and client interaction in JobDiva, Strategic Staffing s hybrid CRM/ATS tool
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates fit and technical competence
- Present career opportunities to qualified applicants
- Negotiate candidate s contracts and terms of employment
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contract employees and assigned clients
- Participate in daily huddles where you will collaborate with management, peers and Account Managers to ensure all active requirements are covered and potential closes are managed successfully
- Four year college degree in business related discipline
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience recruiting IT Professionals
- Moderate understanding of IT terminology and processes
- Effectively handles complex, technical, senior level and/or professional hires.
- Guides businesses on the appropriate recruiting approaches.
- Adept at engaging specialized, high-skilled or difficult-to-attract talent hiring.
- Understands marketplace and uses knowledge to build successful hiring strategies.
- Participates in discussions establishing strategic staffing plans and objectives for the broader organization.
- Owns multiple business leader relationships to develop and drive talent acquisition results for the business.
- Trains and mentors new talent acquisition team members.
- Independently devise and deliver on recruiting strategies.
- Typically requires 4-6 years relevant experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong knowledge of principles and practices related to talent acquisition sourcing and hiring.
- Strong knowledge of HRIS, PC software and spreadsheet applications.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to influence at the management level.
- Demonstrated ability to work with global team.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong knowledge of local employment laws and recent practice of compliance activities related to talent acquisition.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, high level of tact, diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Strong interview skills, sourcing skills, and advisory skills.
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
