Overview
- Responsible for performing control assessment of applications, infrastructure, and emerging technologies based on BNY Mellon policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develops working relationships with key business partners throughout the organization .
- Partners with subject matter experts, including Architecture Review Board, Information Security Division, Operations Embedded Controls, and Technology Risk Management to ensure technology controls are implemented consistently across the organization.
- Implements a consistent strategy, including standardized processes, procedures and controls across assessments performed.
- Manages the day to day interactions with functional stakeholders to ensure TCM assessment processes are implemented and maintained to a standard that is acceptable.
- Participates in and supports the enhancement of assessment process and seeks opportunity for control automation where appropriate and applicable.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- 8 to 10 years or related work experience in Financial Services or Technology Control
- Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrates agility and flexibility to meet changing and evolving requirements.
- Able to clearly articulate risk issues and recommend appropriate controls and/or remediating actions to stakeholders and senior management.
- Capable of evaluating multiple assessments in parallel with a sense of urgency and deliberation.
