Immediate need for a Collections Specialist with 6 months experience in the financial industry. Perform collection actions on mortgage and consumer loans (secured and unsecured) credit cards and negative share/share draft accounts that are delinquent 15 days. Familiar with Credit Union terms and follow applicable policies, procedures, collection laws and regulations a must. Understand and follow Fair Credit Reporting Act Bankruptcy laws; able to recognize legal documents and their importance. Post payments using Credit Union Software with training. Proficient with MS Office and applications; ability to learn third party collections software. Able to use copier and scanner. Comfortable making collection calls to members. Exceptional problem solving skills and excellent verbal and written communications skills.

This is a temporary engagement; approximately 5-7 weeks in length. Full-time hours.
