BDA Architecture “ Building Design for Animals, is an award-winning architecture firm, recognized as a premier animal care facility designer in the U.S. and abroad. We specialize in veterinarian hospitals/clinics, pet boarding facilities, animal humane centers and university veterinarian schools including work at Cornell, Purdue, and LSU. As one of the few specialty animal care designers in the world, our projects span the globe, from China to India, Saudi Arabia, Europe, Canada and across the U.S. With over 30 years in the business, BDA is an industry leader. We focus heavily on innovation and education, and our partners lead discussions and workshops at animal care conventions throughout the country.

BDA is seeking a Project Manager / Project Architect with design and management experience in mid-sized commercial or health care projects. Candidates must be proficient in all phases of design, construction documents and construction administration. AutoCAD proficiency is required, and experience with Revit, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a plus. MS Word and Excel are also used frequently. In general, a candidate must be team-oriented with strong interpersonal and leadership abilities. Our Project Managers carry many projects at once and should be excellent at multi-tasking, time management and self-discipline. Candidates should also be prepared for occasional national and international travel, including overnight and long day trips.
