Development of communication programs to promote Oracle's products & services.Develop and implement corporate communication plan within own business area to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives, increased profit and market control. Be an active member of the global Marketing team to ensure consistency of marketing campaigns and messages. Disseminate key corporate information to the line-of-business and geography operations pertaining to new product development/launches. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of field marketing experience, as well as, developing event and digital customer acquisition and cross-sell program strategy experience, GTM plans, Sales Plays, and is a strategic marketing executive that has led field marketing departments previously.Also, the Field Marketing Leader candidate should have B2B Tech or software marketing experience to various industries, such as Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Communications, Media and High Tech. The Field Marketing Sr. Director will report to the VP, North America Field Marketing of the OCI Platform.The right candidate for the Field Marketing VP will have a passion for field marketing and has worked extensively to build alignment between sales, field marketing and extended marketing teams, based on sales goals efforts, can foster a positive work environment for their staff, and develop clear goal achievements by utilizing metrics for their department.Key responsibilities include:
Drive development of and alignment to GTM Strategy and plan to grow and accelerate pipeline for the Oracle Cloud Platform business
Own and manage marketing budget for Oracle Cloud Platform marketing campaigns
Drive strategic alignment with the business, and ensure that field marketing and sales has a voice on strategic issues
Improve operational efficiencies of the field marketing program for the field reps, including driving systems changes, journey plans, and resourcing requirements
Improve market intelligence through collection, analysis and data reporting
Drive strategic alignment of field marketing teams with business goals
Work cross-functionally with the Creative, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Business Analyst teams to accomplish field marketing goals
Improve operational efficiency of the Field Marketing Organization and budget, based on ROI
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes, and to best practices across business industries and functions
Leverage market knowledge of field and train teams to inform and influence decisions in product marketing, creative, sales, and demand generation
Perform other duties as assigned by VP, NA Field Marketing Leader
PREFERRED PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND LEADERSHIP SKILLSThe ideal candidate must be a high-energy, strategic executive marketing leader possessing a strong sense of urgency with a performance-based track record of success.They will have previous, successful Director of traditional and digital demand/ generation marketing experience with a product technology company or a marketing service provider. This position requires a modern marketer who is a dynamic leader, an excellent communicator, self-driven, highly creative, able to lead and motivate staff, have excellent operational skills, and influence decisions at the peer and executive level.The successful candidate will have:Must have a minimum of (8) years of field marketing, sales, events and online customer acquisition & cross-sell programs experience
Field marketing experience required
Minimal 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing; i.e. webinar development and execution
GTM plan development; includes Sales Plays
Have previously been the primary strategy partner to sales leadership
Has analyzed data and used data to make decisions to build a better ROI model for increasing new customer acquisitions;
On-Premise and/or Cloud software experience
Experience in the development and execution of digital lead generation programs to drive leads, as well as, cross-sell to customer-base for upsell of products
Proven leadership experience
Strategy mentorship experience to develop teams skillsets
Strong project leadership skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to execute, deliver and measure results
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to build and lead a team of national and regional field marketing professionals
Proficiency with MS Office
