Fast-paced, boutique medical practice in Albuquerque now hiring for a front desk position with opportunities for quick advancement and raises. Starting pay $14 to $16 per hour depending on experience, qualifications and demeanor. Work schedule is generally 20 to 25 hours per week, the following days and times are mandatory: Wednesday 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Primary duties include: greeting patients, answering/managing multi-line telephone system, scheduling/verifying appointments, relaying accurate and detailed messages, taking payments, scanning, copying, managing office supplies, light cleaning/organizing, and assisting patients with forms and programmatic questions.
Qualifications: Strong work ethic is essential. Excellent communication skills using written and spoken English, Windows desktop computer proficiency, professional phone etiquette, mature and professional demeanor, outgoing and friendly personality, strong multi-tasking/prioritization/improvisation abilities, proactive self-directed learning, critical thinking and deduction skills. You should be a strong team player. Spanish language proficiency is helpful but not required. Previous experience in healthcare is NOT needed. This is a rare opportunity to work for a business whose employees almost never leave.
