Work in a beautiful environment, surrounded by history and culture. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center has an opening for an Education Assistant. This position will be under direction and supervision of the Cultural Education Specialist. This individual executes educational programming and initiatives that educate and engage guests, staff, and volunteers on both historic and contemporary aspects of Pueblo history, language, arts and cultural values. The qualified candidate either has or is working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree Education, Arts, Museum Studies, Marketing, Native American Studies or related field, one year experience in educational outreach preferably a multicultural setting. Must be dependable and exercise good judgement. Communication and customer service skills required. As well as knowledge of 19 Pueblo tribes of New Mexico preferred.
