Job Description
We are looking for a competent Admin Assistant to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the company.
The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms
Maintain a filing system
Maintain contact lists
Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Initiate and compile bids for custom projects (includes sending RFPs, analyzing bids, entering data into a spreadsheets)
Manage and maintain Vendor insurance and contract information
Assist with Permitting with various municipalities
Regularly update and maintain social media for the company
Various miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by Office Manager or other Supervisors
Requirements
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
