JOB TITLE: Warehouse Team Member FSLA: Non-Exempt

Starting Rate: $10.00-$12.00/hour (depending on experience) plus Overtime as needed

Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Team Member will increase operational efficiency, company profitability and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving, storing, and delivering materials, as well as picking, packing and scanning orders for pickup and delivery. Back up other warehouse functions and other Doc Savage department functions as requested and assigned.

Job Duties:

 Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pickup

 Maintain the ability to determine the status of an order at any given time

 Follow any special instructions pertaining to an individual order

 Receive shipments, log into inventory, maintain inventory through audits

 Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person

 Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up

 Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks and report discrepancies to supervisor

 Assist in keeping counter area inventory stocked

 Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently

 Process returns accurately

 Follow all established policy and safety guidelines in a drug-free workplace

 Attend and pass all product knowledge and training sessions required by management

 Present a neat and professional image

 Assist in keeping facility secure

 Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required

 Follow company policies and procedures

 Other duties as assigned

 Understands basic inventory, warehousing and stocking procedures

 Able to work independently with some direction

 Capable of following written instructions and documented procedures

 Comfortable in fast-paced busy environment; team members must be punctual and have excellent attendance

 Able to perform simple math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)

 Team player who works positively and productively with wide range of people

 Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities

 Effective listening, verbal, written communication skills and basic reading (English) skills

 Able to multi-task

 Problem-solving and analytical ability

 Basic computer and software skills (to include Excel, Word, Outlook Email, etc.)

 Stand/walk for duration of work hours

 Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (safely lift up to 60 lbs)

 Pass a pre-employment NAW-D Aptitude Test, drug screen test(s), and background check including: 1) clean driving record and 2) have a satisfactory credit score

 Education: High school diploma/GED preferred

 Experience: Minimum 1 year in similar position preferred

Minimum 2 years in progressive position preferred
