Robert Half Technology is seeking a O365 Technical Specialist.

The Microsoft 365 Technical Specialist is the first point of contact for incoming Microsoft Teams Hosted Direct Routing support request. The Technical Specialist will function as the first level of support resolving less-complex problems immediately, while more complex problems are elevated to senior personnel. They are responsible for working with customers to evoke confidence in our technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in our product offerings. To accomplish this, the Technical Specialist must have a strong desire to leverage their technical skills and enjoy working with both technology and people.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Provide technical support and subject matter expertise on Microsoft Teams Voice Solutions;Provide internal MS 365 support;Produce high-quality technical documentation;Responsible for ensuring the timely process through which problems are controlled. Includes problem recognition, research, isolation and follow-up steps;Support the development of a customer's technology strategies in support of their strategic vision;Perform test during application development, assist with application documentation, familiarizes personnel with application, provides direct user support as well as other forms of assistance to program and project leads;Serve as the initial point of contact for customer support request;Serve as the initial point of contact for internal Office/Microsoft 365 troubleshooting;Stay apprised and familiar with new cloud services, security standards and/or deployment patterns or requirements;Any other duties management choses to amend from time to time;

The successful O365 Technical Specialist will have:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

Microsoft Intelligent Communications: Skype for Business / Teams / Direct Routing;Microsoft Office 365;Microsoft PowerShell & Scripting capabilities;On-Prem PBX management & migration experience;Microsoft Identity and Access Management - Azure AD / SSO ;Microsoft Azure Active Directory / Active Directory;Poly, Plantronics, YeaLink, Crestron endpoint experience;Network Assessments;PSTN understanding;Teams Room Systems;Experience with Network Infrastructure (Firewalls, Routers, Switches & Wireless);WAN Technologies (MPLS, VPLS & SD-WAN);Data Center Technologies (Public & Private Clouds);Software components involved in enterprise service delivery (web servers, application servers, databases, web services, mainframes, network attached storage and other related technologies);Non-technical Skills:Candidates possess 5+ years working in a fast paced customer facing technical role;Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues;Excellent Technical documentation skills (High-level Design documents, Low-level design documents, Assessment reports, customer facing instructions, etc.);Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences is a must;Excellent ability to successfully handle multiple priorities concurrently;Self-motivated and ability to work independently;Experience working in a fast-paced and matrixed cross-functional organization;Excellent communication skills and proven success establishing and maintaining business relationships at all levels of the organization Team player who promotes a positive morale;Organized, strategically focused, detail oriented;Fast learner with a "get it done" attitude;Above average knowledge of the ticket systems and process flows;Willingness to work flexible hours as agreed with Management;High School Diploma required, 4-year degree or equivalent preferredAbility to work from home with little supervision.Proficient in the use of MS Office, Internet, e-mail and collaboration.
