- Developing and maintaining a clear understanding of the program mission and assist the federal program manager to review acquisition logistics policies, processes, and requirements and track compliance.
- Developing and integrating logistics management approaches.
- Conducting analyses and studies of logistics management processes.
- Evaluating and implementing configuration management.
- Assessing technical and programmatic logistics
- Developing and implementing logistics management processes.
- Providing logistics management support to weapons programs
- Leading and coordinating activities for staff members
- Reviewing acquisition logistics activities, establishing a framework for life cycle logistics requirements from top-level system requirements to lower-level requirements to help ensure consistency, correctness, and comprehensiveness.
- Facilitating strategic communication of project governance and project management processes for enterprise-wide projects within NNSA and with external organizations including developing responses to Congress, executive NNSA managers, and stakeholders to garner support.
- At least 12 years of experience that includes:
- Tailoring standard integrated logistics assessment elements and analysis processes for DoD elements involved with nuclear weapons,
- Implementing life cycle management plans and sustainment plans.
- NNSA weapons logistics.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred.
- Active DOD TS and/or DOE Q clearance.
