Description: We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our team as a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) Driver. As an NEMT Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting patients to and from medical appointments, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare facilities.
Responsibilities:
Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.
Provide assistance to patients as needed, including helping them in and out of the vehicle.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Maintain accurate records of mileage and patient transport details.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, patients, and healthcare professionals.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the transportation process.
Requirements:Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Previous experience in transportation or healthcare preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and patient-oriented attitude.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.Physical ability to assist patients in and out of the vehicle.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of local roads and routes.
