Job Description

This is a newly created role that sits aspart of the Network Operations Team, managingthe identification and delivery of end to end improvement opportunities aligned to the supply chain strategy.

Reporting to the Network Operations Manager, you will lead a team of analysts in the design, development, and delivery of advanced analytical solutions to answer complex logistics problems that solve customer-centric outcomes.

Drawing on your toolkit of skills and proven experience your other key objectives will be:

  • Participate collaboratively with fellow Supply Chain functions throughout the lifecycle of improvement projects with ownership of logistics network-specific inputs and activities.
  • Support with the definition of required standards on behalf of the logistics network across inventory, reporting and commercial, ensuring business obligations are met.
  • Ensure effective resource forecasting models are in place, working with logistics leadership team members to identify, plan and realise improvement benefits.
  • Drive engagement across the network in support of role portfolio, showcasing health, safety, wellbeing and sustainability benefits as well as improved customer experience

Qualifications

  • 3+ years supply chain related experience
  • Retail industry knowledge or experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred – Preferably logistics or business graduate
  • Experience in project management and delivery across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build excellent internal and external relationships
  • A high degree of organisation and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Deep business knowledge and commercial acumen
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Lean)
  • People leadership and talent development
