Job Description
We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our team working in our Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) welding inspection and consultancy services in Christchurch.
This is a highly successful NZ and global business that has been well known in the marketplace since the industrial business of SGS NZ was launched in 1976. Our client base is impressive and wide ranging across the engineering, construction, oil and gas, and agricultural industries and well-known businesses.
You will work with the team performing specialist inspections to new and existing assets such as structural welds, bridges, pressure equipment, pipework, tanks, and ships. Along with utilising your knowledge providing consultancy services by advising and supervising repairs to assist our clients with their technical challenges and maintenance.
Qualifications
If you have the below qualities we are interested to hear from you:
- Tertiary education either a Diploma or Degree in Engineering.
- Some practical experience working in the NDT field or general inspections.
- Customer service focus and able to use computers and technology efficiently.
- Able to work well with others in a team environment.
- A current driving licence.
