Collaborates directly with Radiologist regarding CT scan protocol and scan sequence. Provides patient instruction of procedure method. Injects IV contrast for organ enhancement, under the direction of a Radiologist. Performs and understands routine quality control procedures and measurements of the CT systems. Trains Radiology students, Radiologic Technologists, and non-certified Computed Technology Technologists in essential CT duties.MINIMUM REQUIRED: Graduate of an ARRT approved School of Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology. Two years’ experience working as a Computed Tomography Technologist.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSMINIMUM REQUIRED: Current BLS certification.CA.
