Broadridge is hiring. We are looking for our next Mid-Level Business Analyst based out of our Deer Park, NY location. Business Process Analysts draw inferences from process details and link these inferences to the big picture by considering business objectives in identifying process improvements. Possesses the ability to structure a large amount of information within a process framework. Specialized in analyzing business processes and workflows with the objective of finding out how they can be improved or automated. Job Responsibilities:

  • Work On-site in our Deer Park, NY location on Long Island.
  • Create process documentation/workflows, knowledge articles and self-service guidance for IT Services
  • Collect and document of business requirements for project and process improvement/automation efforts
  • Facilitate process workflow modeling in order to collaborate on process improvements, automation capabilities and clearly defined end-to-end use cases
  • Review information and trends to ensure that the output of processes are accomplishing the desired results and that services are meeting agreed upon service levels
  • Conduct maturity assessments against the process activities to highlight areas of improvement or concerns
  • Identify issues and risks
  • Bring inconsistencies and problems to the attention of management
  • Participate in the problem resolution
  • Track major incident management process and ensure alignment of the process and partner with various support and delivery areas
  • Prepare incident details for post-mortem incident reviews
  • Extract reports and provide a high-level analysis of data for review
  • Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access (including tables, forms, report design, SQL scripting and VBA programming).
  • Ability to write code (SQL, VBA) and integrate software programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous working experience as a Business Analyst for 1-5 years
  • MA in Business Management, Information Technology, Financial Management or similar relevant filed
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills

  • Must have extraordinary communication, leadership, management, facilitation, and problem solving skills, in addition to requiring advanced Project Management skills.
