Job Description

ELLKAY, a leader in healthcare connectivity solutions, is seeking an experienced Healthcare focused Product Manager with clinical and/or healthcare informatics background to identify and define product enhancements, lead product innovation, meet customer needs and own the lifecycle of a mainstream product line.

Leveraging their healthcare expertise, the Healthcare Product Manager will collaborate with clients, various internal stakeholders including product, technology, marketing and sales to enhance current product line and develop innovative new solutions for the market to ensure the solution meets business needs and drives revenue.

Growth focused opportunity, will work directly with leadership and collaborative team members.

Location, NJ, NY or Remote within the US.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute product roadmap. Partnerwith internal and external stakeholders, product and technology leaders to translate market requirements into product roadmap and development plans.
  • Identify market demand, new features and functions based on analysis of market conditions, client requests, and competitive analysis. Turn findings into actionable plans.
  • Facilitate the design and development of new product concepts and prototypes.
  • Collaborate with Engineers, Design, Marketing, and other internal teams to ensure the application meets business needs and drives revenue
  • Develop detailed product requirements documentation and lead the development timeline, release process, internal and external communication. Own the delivery process.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and assist internal teams with client discussions
  • Support sales and account management teams by providing insight and direction about use of the product by clinical users.
  • Perform Training for internal and client teams
  • Participatein trade shows, client meetings, webinars, publishing original research, and other market-facing activities.

Qualifications

  • Experienced, self-motivated, high-performer who is passionate about healthcare and building new solutions, using evidence-based information to create provider and user centric applications
  • 4+ years of healthcare industry experience. Hospital/ clinical experience working as a MD, RN, Informatics strongly preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience with provider workflows, inpatient and outpatient, direct EMR/EHR or other clinical informatics systems experience a plus
  • 3+ years of experience as Product Manager or Product Owner.
  • Experience with clinical data
  • Familiarity with medical code sets (ICD, CPT, SNOMED).
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills required with the ability to explain advanced concepts to audiences of varying levels.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus
  • Experience with Software Development in an Agile Environment a plus
  • Bachelors, Master's or advanced professional degree, preferably in medical or scientific field.

This is a full-time position for our HQlocated in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work may be available.
