Job Description

The

Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for managing a set of business activities and processes, including managing sales data and analytics, tracking asset under management flows, aligning opportunity sales strategy, and evaluating the general health of the sales process, to help a sales organization run effectively and efficiently. The Analyst will report and provide insight to support the decision-making and strategic planning for the sales and marketing management team. Responsibilities will also include data entry in Salesforce.com and ELLKAY’s proprietary project management portal.The Analyst will be responsible for entering sales lead and project information into multiple databases for effective transition to the Sales, Project, and Sales Operations teams.

Essential Duties &Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the sales CRM System (Salesforce)
  • Report and provide insight to support the decision-making and strategic planning of the sales and marketing management team
  • Administering, managing, and reporting on revenue forecasting and analysis
  • Analyze data and provide important visualization and dashboards
  • Responsible for creating the metrics to evaluate sales efficiency and productivity
  • Drive analysis to increase the performance visibility to the team leaders and analyze the health of the business and interpret key performance metrics
  • Assist with maintaining the functional areas of data management, forecasting, contacts, leads, opportunities, dashboards and reports, and ensuring data integrity throughout our CRM system
  • Manage data entry into Salesforce.com and proprietary order entry system.
  • Evaluate new tools and platforms to improve reporting and sales operations

Qualifications

  • BS Degree or higher in related field
  • 2+ years of implementing and utilizing Salesforce required
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with superb time-management and organizational skills
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel including the use of Pivot Tables
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to independently handle issues with a high degree of complexity
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification strongly preferred

This is a full-time position for our HQlocated in Elmwood Park, NJ. Remote work is available.
