Job Description
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst you will monitor, triage, and set forth remediation plans to mitigate security risks and ensure threats are identified, analyzed, and mitigated 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You will be responsible for monitoring, triaging and implementing remediation plans to mitigate security vulnerabilities and resole and patch OS or software vulnerabilities. This includes identifying and analyzing potential security vulnerabilities and emerging threats as well as documenting and containing security incidents detected on the network. You will also execute incident response process when a security incident has been declared, as well as document and present findings to management suitable for customer consumption. Finally, you will research external trusted intelligence sources and leverage knowledge to detect events of interest. Working Environment REMOTE This position offers a Remote working environment. Meaning you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote. There could be times you will be requested to travel and/or visit a Cerner office or client site. #RemoteQualifications Basic Qualifications- At least 8 years total combined related work experience and completed higher education, including:
- At least 2 years information systems security work experience
- At least 6 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education, including:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Systems, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - (ISC)²
- EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) - EnCase
- Ability to obtain the following certifications within 6 months of employment: GCIA, CEH, GCIH, GCFA, SCYBER
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned
- Willing to travel up to 20% as needed
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Willing to work on call shifts as needed
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
