Job Description

Major activities include:

• Configure integration between ECC and SCM EWM environments.

• Responsible for Structural Elements and Master data and Warehouse Process Types (WPT’s).

• Handle Process-Oriented Storage Control Process (POSC), and Layout Oriented Storage Control Process (LOSC).

• Handle goods receipts, expected goods receipt, goods issue, storage control, warehouse task and warehouse order creation.

• Responsible for posting changes, stock transfers and replenishment strategies, integration of manufacturing, physical inventory and Post Processing Framework (PPF).

• Work on warehouse master data storage types, storage sections, storage bin structure and configured put away and picking strategies, transfer order creation and auto confirmation.

• Implement storage unit management, handled unit management and batch management.

• Define storage unit types and bin types based on the client requirements, storage type and storage section indicators.

• Provide technical guidance in defining SAP MM, WM/IM processes.

• Maintain the enterprise structure, purchase organization, MRP controllers and plant.

• Defined pricing procedure, calculation schema and release strategy along with setting tolerances and purchasing value key, handling Procurement and Inventory management related escalations, troubleshooting of the issues related to Master Data, Purchase requisitions, RFQ, Quotation, Purchase Order, or Outline Agreements, Inventory Management and LIV. He handled issues related to vendor evaluation, stock transfer orders and third-party procurement scenarios.

• Derive solutions on goods issue, goods receipt and goods transfer on inter and intra company STO.

• Work on custom Release Procedures for purchase requisition and purchase orders.

• Create functional specification for the development team and gathered RICEF requirements from process owners such as forms and reports.

• Configure IM and WM activities (Warehouse set up, movements, physical Inventory, integration with SD, interface with external material handling systems).

• Support IM activities including goods receipts issues, physical inventory, scrap consumption and returns to vendor.

• Handle split valuation and batch management along with WM functionalities.

• Responsible for cross functionality of MM & WM with SD and FICO

Qualifications

• Should have good knowledge on Supply chain logistic process and understand the customer business processes and the IT landscape rapidly and able to map the same in SAP.
• Work with customer business teams and project teams effectively; Conduct requirement gathering workshops, map these into SAP WM processes and identify gaps and solution to these gaps.
• SAP WM / EWMconsultant with any graduation or MBA degree with minimum 3 years in SAP WM/EWM and total experience of 3-6 years.
• Should be able to understand the processes adopted for custom developments, unit testing, function testing, integration testing, Go-live and support phases.
• Should have basic knowledge on cross modules like MM,PP,SD
• Should be able to design and configure the processes in WM.
• Should have strong knowledge on warehouse structure, Inbound and outbound logistic process.
• Should have strong knowledge in Put away, different strategies, replenishment ,SU & HU management
• Should have good knowledge on KANBAN process & RF menu
• Should have worked in support of Implementation project.
