Job Description
Objective:Responsible of line production design, requirements analysis and documentation according with KPIs and process innovation.
Responsibilities:- Technical product support for Assembly Technologies customer applications
- Interpret customer specifications, make specific product recommendations, and assist with selection of a products.
- Perform load, speed and force calculations.
- Work with layout drawings and CAD drawings.
- Preparation of customer quotations including costing and pricing.
- Set up part numbers and BOM's for special customer requirements.
- Maintain system data and drawings via Engineering Change Notifications (ECN's).
- Determine the correct spare parts and replacements for products in the field.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in manufacturing or factory automation engineering
- Prefer knowledge of conveyance products and applications with focus on material handling and factory automation.
- Knowledge of SAP desirable but not required. Suitable knowledge of primary served industry segments beneficial. (Assembly, Automotive, Electric Vehicle and Fast Moving Consumer Goods).
- Previous international experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Computer knowledge within an ERP environment, preferably SAP and database applications such as Access, MS-Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access).
- Computer Aided Design software, preferable Creo and SolidWorks.
