Job Description
Responsible to implement, maintain and improve the manufacturing process, ensure technical availability of equipment in all shifts. Fulfil Value Stream KPI’s: IDC, FOR, Technical Down time.New product introduction, equipment and process definition, acquisition, validation and installation on production environment. Develop process and instructions for processes, write material to train technicians, and processes for maintenance: Preventive, predictive and corrective.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Process Engineer responsible for Housing & Sensor manufacturing processes: Vision Systems, ECU-Testing and Programming, Automation/ Robotics, Traceability Systems & Molding.
- Initiate process improvements related to manufacturing KPIs: FoR/FPY, IDC, Customer Quality & Cycle Time using systematic problem solving methods as PSS, Shainin or Six Sigma
- Define and introduce new processes/ equipment according to process specifications
- Manage Process and Engineering Changes
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing processes
- Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/ Mechatronics disciplines, Masters preferred.
- Advanced skills in Molding, Testing/Programming (CCS, Functional Tests) & Automation/ Robotics (PLC, Staeubli)
- Certified in Problem Solving Method (Shainin, PSS), preferably.
- Advanced Knowledge/ Experience of Lean and CIP Methods (e.g. PDCA, Six Sigma)
- High level of initiative & entrepreneurial mindset
- Advanced English
