Aggregate Superintendent
Salary: DOE+Bonus
Overview:
Mid-sized, family owned company located in West Texas/Southern New Mexico seeks a aggregate superintendent to oversee multiple sites. All sites will be located approximately 20+ miles of each other. The right candidate will be managing the production process & settings as well as monitoring targets.
Responsibilities:
Assist Manager with providing company with information and statistics on the quarry's performance.
Assist with managing and regulating the quarry's budget.
Direct and supervise all production activities, from drilling and blasting, to quality control of the end products.
Maintaining up-to-date records and dealing with a range of paperwork.
Quality control with examining the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained.
Ensure all equipment at the plants is properly maintained and ready for operation at the start of each scheduled production shift.
Work in coordination with quality control manager and sales manager to determine required inventory and production demands.
Requirements:
5 Years of managing quarries/mining of aggregates.
Self-motivation with a strong ability to work independently or as part of a team
Safety certification a plus but working knowledge of safety with MSHA is a must.
Must be bilingual
Valid license and clean criminal mandatory
